The Jeanette Kawas National Park is located in the municipality of Tela, on the north Caribbean coast of Honduras Atlantida deparment. A fantastic park with abundant bird life, including the Lagoon of Los Micos.You may see different birds and with luck, some of the noisy Howler Monkeys.

With an area over 107,241 hectares, Pico Bonito includes nineteen major watersheds that supply drinking water to more than five hundred thousand people from nearby communities.
