Welcome to Costa Rica´s capital city, San Jose, the country´s historical and cultural heart.  San José is lively and home to many historical landmarks including the iconic National Theater, a number of museums, city parks and architectural gems.  San José is vibrant and has a buzz to it that comes with a variety of restaurants, bars and casinos.  It is also located nearby active volcanoes, coffee plantations and quaint rural settings rich in folklore on the mountains on either side. (2 nights)

From the city to the coast at the far southern corner of the Caribbean Sea is an amazing contrast.  Beautiful, tropical rainforest-laden beaches, coral reefs, calypso, and the Caribbean vibe will enchant you.  Time takes a new rhythm in this part of the world. (2 nights)

Tortuguero is a series of winding water canals that snake through dense, rainforest that is home to wildlife and birdlife in abundance before reaching the Caribbean Sea. Tortuguero is nature at its best and where wildlife spotting is part of the adventure from your boat as it explores the canals.  Monkeys, sloths, caimans, birds, reptiles, sea turtles and maybe even a jaguar abound. Arenal Arenal is not only beautiful, but also the adventure capital of the world!  The sleepy Arenal Volcano can be admired as you enjoy a number of adventure activities immersed in nature. The adrenaline of ziplining through its canopy, hiking on its floor, rafting down its rivers or walking through its hanging bridges contrast the relaxing, medicinal thermal springs, a gift from our iconic volcano.  Adventure in nature like no other. The northern lowlands of Costa Rica are home to some secluded natural wonders.  From Blue River, a natural icon, a product of the beauty of chemistry to the wetlands of Caño Negro, a favorite for bird and nature lovers. Off the beaten track but a must-see during your visit to beautiful Costa Rica.  (2 nights)

Rincon de la Vieja: Across the majestic Guanacaste volcanic mountain range is the north pacific province of Guanacaste.  The land of volcanoes and beautiful, white-sanded beaches.  The slopes of the Rincon de la Vieja Volcano guarantee a day of adventure while enjoying the tropical dry forest.  A thrill-seekers paradise of ziplining, rappelling, canyons, horseback riding, tubing down rivers and volcanic mud baths and thermal springs to enjoy in nature.  (1 night)

From the Guanacaste highlands to the spectacular, white-sanded beaches of the Nicoya Peninsula on the spectacular Pacific Ocean.  Sun-kissed days and refreshing swims in the ocean are your companions here.  Don´t miss the amazing sunsets too that welcome the star filled skies. (2 nights)

Up onto the top of the mountain to Monteverde, one of the few cloud forests remaining in the world.  This sustainable, eco-friendly destination invites you to experience the magic of the forest that is embraced by mist and that is home to a diversity of wildlife, especially endemic and migratory birds. Our journey down the Pacific Ocean coastline to the Central Pacific region that is home to some of Costa Rica´s most well-known beach spots including Jaco and Manuel Antonio.  With lots of activities to enjoy on the water or up in the rainforest-laden mountains, this area continues to surprise us with its treasures. (2 nights)

Considered to host 2.5% of the world´s biodiversity, Corcovado/Golfo Dulce, on the far southern Pacific Coast is a nature-lovers dream come true.  Thriving with wildlife, this region remains virgin and secluded; a perfect place to truly immerse in nature and sustainability practices.  A favorite for the humpback whales to mate and give birth too.
